Talking Dice were originally developed as a way of
getting high school students to practice weather
sentences in modern langauges. They started life as
pictures of the sun, clouds, rain etc, stuck to the
sides of a cube. The students rolled the dice, and said
what they saw - "Il fait du soleil". They had so much
more fun than boring drilling exercises that the idea
developed to include more topics.
Now, Talking Dice come in 25
curriculum based topics along with Teacher's Notes and Student Worksheets and loads of free games ideas. There is no other
first or second language teaching resources that can be
used in any language, nor has the same
visual, auditory, and kinesthetic (VAK) qualities.
